Oxboro Library, the second free-standing library to be built within the City of Bloomington, serves Bloomington and Richfield area residents. Named for its surrounding historic neighborhood and located on land farmed by the Erasmus Biscof Family from 1912 to the early 1970s, this library opened in 1974. Major building renovations occurred in 2004 and 2018-2019. Previously, the community was served by a temporary library at 9801 Nicollet Avenue South (1962-73.)
